In accordance with COMMISSION DELEGATED REGULATION (EU) 2024/1415 of 14 March 2024 amending Regulation (EC) No 810/2009 as regards the amount of visa fees, visa fees have been revised. The visa fee is determined as € 90 per adult and € 45 per Turkish national child above 12 years old, and the new regulation enters into force as of 11 June.
As a rule the Hungarian Embassy’s Consular Section in Ankara only accepts applications from non-Turkish citizens in possession of a valid residence permit issued by the authorities of the Republic of Türkiye, which is valid at least three months after the planned return date to Türkiye. Appointments are avilable only on Wednesdays.
On the web-site of the visa center deatailed information are available on the visa application process. Non-Turkish citizens who wish to apply for a visa should also make an appointment with AS VISA SOLUTIONS.
Non-Turkish citizens, especially holders of service, special or diplomatic passports should check the list of visa waiver agreements if they need a visa to travel to Hungary. (The list only contains general information).
Travellers are highly recommended to contact the Embassy of Hungary accredited to their country before departure.
